メリークリスマス。
今年も互いに愛や思いやりを育むシーズンがやってきました。今年のクリスマスは、東日本大震災後、はじめて迎えるクリスマスです。被災地の皆様にとっては、冬の寒さの中で、「希望」を高く持ち続けるのが難しい時期だと思います。こんな時だからこそ、みんなで被災者、日本、そして子ども達の将来のために祈り続けましょう。
今夜、この素晴らしい雰囲気の中、音楽が皆様一人一人にもたらす温もり、美、神秘を会場の皆様と共有したいと思っています。クリスマスは、これまでのことのすべてが許される日でもあります。遠ざかっていた家族や友人もまた寄り添って、互いに思いやる事が出来ます。まさに一年で、最もマジカルな時でしょう。今夜、皆様のために歌い、祈りましょう！

Merry Christmas to you…
It is the season for everyone to share their love and care with one another. This is the first Christmas for the victims of Tohoku Tsunami/Earthquake. They must be cold again and it must be hard for them to keep their hopes high. We need to keep praying for them, for Japan and for the future of our children.
Tonight, in this amazing atmosphere, I want to share the warmth, beauty and the mystery, which music brings to each and every on of us. On Christmas, all is good again. Family and friends can come close and love each other again. It is truly the most magical time of the year. Lets sing and pray tonight for everyone who is less fortunate. “We are one and one for love.”

ACCJ （アメリカ商工会議所) のチャリティイベント「Live from Tokyo….. It’s Saturday Night」に出演し,東北の映像をバックに歌いました。収益金は東北に送られます。
Performed at the ACCJ, the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan, charity Event, “Live from Tokyo… it’s Saturday Night”. All the profit will be donated to Tohoku.

It was great to sing again for the family and friends of St. Mary’s International School Tokyo, my Alma Mater! Bravo to Yumi Okazaki with her classical piano pieces. And as usual, the student choirs did fantastic!!

橋幸夫さんからの呼びかけで、浦安でチャリティコンサートに出演しました。共演は、橋幸夫さん、ジュディ・オングさん、金沢明子さん、三沢あけみさん、日野美歌さんです。
Charity Concert for Urayasu City, Chiba, with Yukio Hashi, Judy Ongg and friends. The city suffered serious liquefaction of the land due to the earthquake. The closest devastated area to Tokyo, a rather unknown fact compared to the Tohoku area.

When I saw this terrible news, I was in Vienna rehearsing for the West Side Story. The casts were all devastated with anger and in tears. Then, this terrorism turned into a personal nightmare, when I found out my high school friend and her family was aboard the first airplane crash. We cannot forget this tragedy. The world does not need another 911. We need to hold hands and come out stronger for our future! John Ken Nuzzo
ウィーンでウェストサイドストーリーのリハーサル中に、この悲惨なニュースを聞きました。その場にいたキャスト全員が、怒りと悲しみで啞然としました。更に、ビルに直撃した一機目に、僕の高校時代の友人が家族と共に乗っていたと聞き、このテロリズムが個人的にも悲惨なものになりました。我々は、この悲惨な出来事を忘れてはいけない。911を二度と引き起こしてはいけない。手と手を取り合って、未来の為により強くなろう！
