東京アメリカンクラブで開催された独立記念日の式典で、日米の国歌「The Star-Spangled Banner」と「君が代」を斉唱しました。式典には、常陸宮同妃両殿下、ルース駐日米国大使が臨席されました。
Independence Day Reception at the Tokyo American Club. I had the honor to sing both the US and the Japanese anthems. The guests included US Ambassador Roos and Prince and Princess Hitachi.

TEDx Tokyo 2012の一番手。Nessun Dorma「誰も寝てはならぬ」で今年のイベントをスタート！最高のオープニングになったかな！？このイベントは世界中でいろんな形で開催されている、今注目のイベントです。
I opened the show for this year’s TEDx Tokyo 2012 [where art meets science] with the aria [Nessun Dorma].
I think it really kicked off the event!

終演後は、京都の街を散歩。
After the concert, I walked around the cultural city of Kyoto.

東京アメリカンクラブで行われた福島へのチャリティイベント「Still Jammin’ for Japan」に、コシノジュンコさんとのコラボレーションで出演しました。
The charity event for Fukushima Prefecture at The Tokyo American Club. This year, I collaborated with Junko Koshino, the fashion designer,for a Night of Fashion and Opera.

今日は、オーチャードホールでの本番30分前。
皆わくわくしてます。
Concert at Orchard Hall in 30 minutes.

昨年の震災で被害を受けて再生されたピアノ「ぴあ子」が、東京にやって来ました。
The piano named “PIAKO” was brought to Tokyo for a charity concert.  This piano survived the Tsunami, was revived and played for this concert.

アイスホッケー日韓代表戦で、国歌を独唱しました。
Sang the Japanese anthem at the Japan-Korea Ice Hockey Exchange Game 2012 Tokyo

東京アメリカンクラブのメンバーと、宮城県を訪問。
I was able to visit Miyagi again with the members and friends of the Tokyo American Club.

コンサート前、震災後に出来た災害臨時ラジオ局「りんごラジオ」に出演！リスナーの皆さんに思いが届いたかな？　スタジオの皆さん、ありがとう！
Live broadcast at the local, hand-made radio station, Apple Radio. Thank you!!

雨の中、会場に駆けつけて下さった皆さんと「翼を下さい」「小さな世界」を、一緒に歌いました。アットホームな感じで本当に楽しかったー。
It was a rainy day, but many people came by the auditorium and we all sang several heartwarming songs together!!

被災地の子どもたちに世界の子どもからメッセージを届けて力づけたいと結成されたグループ「笑顔 de スキップ」により、世界15カ国／800枚の絵が会場に飾られました。子どもパワー全開でした。皆の絵が楽しい！
Also, in the auditiorium, they displayed drawings by children from 15 different countries! The imagination of these children could be the most powerful and warm present for the people of Miyagi. They were amazing!!

また行きますね !!
